think of how much smaller, and slower athletes were 22 years ago. The Fridge was the biggest in the NFL back than. Now he's a average lineman, except he is alot slower than lineman today. Any good team in 2007 would beat any good team from 30 years ago. The athlets are just way bigger, faster, and stronger. Its nothing against old teams but its like saying that some female sprinter from 1950 would beat marion jones in the 100 meter. Not going to happen.

I know what your saying I just think you can't compare teams of different era's. It's impossible. Walter peyton was one of the best ever, but the bears o-line would get used up by the pats d-line and linebackers. What was the average weight and 40 time of the bears o-lineman. 260 Lbs and a 6.0. They simply couldn't block the NE lineman.
